Welcome to the Asylum. the Asylum is a Fighting
based promotion which looks to bring something Fresh to the Fantasy wrestling
scene. An Idea originally thought up by three greatly experienced members of the
former total HARDCORE wrestling ( Steve King, Steve Burton and Joe Campbell ),
Asylum was looked upon as a chance to offer something new to the E-Wrestling
World.
The Idea of Asylum is somewhat new, focusing more loosely on fighting in general
than Wrestling on a whole. Asylum is an organisation in which fighters of every
style will meet and fight for the coveted belt known only as 'The Asylum
Championship'.
But What, may you ask...is the Asylum? Well, the Asylum is a circular mesh
structure, in which Fighters do combat...
The ring is 10 metres in diameter, with a 4 foot mesh cages around the
outside.
There are but four ways to win, by either Forcing your opponent to submit,
Throwing them out of the Asylum, or gaining a 'Ring-Out' as its more commonly
known... Rendering your opponent unconscious, or the fourth way to win, Is if
the Match official feels your opponent is in a particularly dangerous, or life
threatening position, he may stop the match.
The Rules of the Asylum are simple.
There-Are-No-Rules!
Biting, Scratching, Gouging, Low blows, All moves which are banned in even the
loosest of promotions, But in the Asylum, everything and anything can happen,
and its all fair. The Asylum will surely be the stage for some of the most
brutal matches ever to take place!
the Asylum has two weekly shows, the Wednesday show named...'Wednedsay', and the
Sunday show named, you guessed it, 'Sunday'! Why call the shows after the days?
Well why not?...here at the Asylum we aim to stray from the more conventional, stereotypical
parts of fantasy wrestling, and if that means keeping everything original, then
so be it!
the Asylum not only aims to provide an entertaining 'E-Fighting' experience, But
more importantly a friendly atmosphere between handlers. As the President, I'll
always be around to talk with you about any Angles or Role-plays you feel you
may need advice or help with, or just to chat about anything in general. So,
this is the Asylum... Have Fun!
