the Asylum Arena, California January 1st 2001
Pre-Show Problems
There are several officials wandering around the backstage area, watching each entrance to the arena. The door from the car park slowly opens and the Asylum Champion Pete Borst peeks his head around the corner. The fans go wild when they see Borst on the TV screen, and with their cheering instantly blow his cover. Several officials crowd around Borst stopping him from getting into the arena, and it's not long before Joe Campbell is on the scene.
"Borst! You stay outta here!" cries Campbell.
Borst doesn't reply and doesn't try to struggle to get in.
"Get out Borst! Get out!" Campbell insisted
There are around ten officials standing in front of Borst, and Campbell is standing behind them trying to look powerful. Borst drops his back and lowers his head.
"I'm going Campbell... but the boys won't be happy if the work don't get done." Borst grabs his bag and leaves the arena.

Opening
30,000.....30,000 Californian's packed into the Asylum arena, popularity was the key word, in just a few weeks, the Asylum had skyrocketed as far as ratings were concerned, and the
30,000 in attendance showed that. For the last time before the Asylum would tour America, the opening usic and Fireworks lit the arena, the footage of the eariler Borst incident had Just finished, and the matches tonight showed much Promise, Two titles could change hands, and we would see a number one contender.
Things quickly picked up, as 'I Dissepear' By Metallica played, and Joe Campbell, owner of the company, walked down to the ring...Microphone in hand.

A BIG Announcement
The fans are booing and cheering, not quite knowing what to do. As Joe raises the mic to his mouth and begins to speak.
"Happy New Year everybody." The crowd cheer a little, and soon hush down when Joe puts the mic back up to his mouth.
"People.. the Asylum Championship. The Asylum Champion, Pete Borst." The crowd begin to cheer. "You may have heard, that Pete Borst has now got the cast off of his arm, which is good news. He is however in no fit state to fight still. His broken ribs are almost healed, but are still very sore and bruised. The post concussion syndrome is still lingering around Pete, and his arm, although it's not in a cast anymore, is less than 50%. He CAN NOT begin to training for at least another 3 weeks. The training is likely to take a month, before he's in a fit state to fight again. And according to the rules, Pete has to defend the title at least once a month. This leaves me very few options, so I will be contacting Pete first thing tomorrow morning to..."
Suddenly, The Masses Against the Classes plays over the PA system. Joe has a puzzled look on his face, but Borst is no where to be seen. The music continues to play, even when Campbell tells them to shut it off. Then, from the crowd, Pete Borst emerges. He has the title belt in his right hand, and his left arm has a big support on it, and is dangling by his side. He throws the title from the crowd into the ring, and then hops over the security railings and climbs into the Asylum. The crowd go wild as Borst picks up the title belt and holds it high.
"What are you doing here?! How did you get in?!!??" Joe exclaimed
Pete grins and snatches the mic from Joe. "Campbell. You fucking idiot. You try to get a restraining order, but the cops tell you to piss off and stop being so stupid since Pete Borst's not done anything to warrant it. You try to keep Pete Borst out of the backstage area, which granted, you did. But what you didn't do was stop me buying a fucking ticket to this event, and coming in through the crowd!", Pete paused, and went on
"Now Campbell... I understand that you want to sort out this whole injury thing right?"
Joe snatches the mic back from Borst. "Your damn right Borst. You can't fight, so you can't have the title. Full stop."
The fans begin to boo, and Borst smirks and shakes his head.
"Pete, you can't fight."
Another mic is thrown into the ring, and Borst catches it. He walks up close to Joe and looks down on him.
"Campbell... don't you think I know that? I know I'm not allowed to fight, and I sure a heck don't feel like fighting. This here left arm has trouble doing much at the moment. It can move up and down, but doesn't like bending much. The purple marks Campbell, the ones over the rib area, they're bruises, and they hurt. Yeah, they do. And I'm not going to fight. But check your records Campbell, I've defended the title once this month already."
"Pete, I know, but you're not going to be able to do it next month are you? You will only just be beginning light training. This is a business decision. Anyway, if you're not intending to fight, why are you even here?"
"Campbell, this title stays with me. I'll be ready in January, late January. That'll be the one title defence. Got it?"
Joe shakes his head and replies, "Pete, you didn't answer my question. Why are you here if you're not intending to fight?"
Borst pauses for a moment before replying. "I've got work to do Campbell, alright?"
"What work Pete, what work!?"
"That's none of your fuckin' business Campbell, and since this whole Asylum Championship matter is sorted out, I'm gonna bugger off to do some work." Pete raises the title in the air before motioning to leave the Asylum.
"WAIT!" cried Campbell.
"If you won't tell me what this work is... then I'll just assume it's work, OK? And since you're at work, you can do some proper work. Since it's the festive season, and almost January, how about you defending your title tonight, and it'll count as your January defence. That way, you've effectively got two months to rest up."
Pete turns around and stares at Joe. "I'm not fighting tonight Campbell, no fucking way."
"Oh you are Pete. Fight, or lose the title."
"You can't take the title Campbell, there are fucking contracts saying so."
Joe grins and quickly replies. "I know, but if you were fired, you'd lose the title wouldn't you?"
Pete throws the title down and sighs. "Who have I got to face then Campbell? Graphic Violence? Reno Davis? No fuck that, why don't you be a complete bastard and throw me in with Archie, that'll be fun won't it. You sick bastard."
"Nice idea Pete! I was going to let you face Chris Credible, but since you suggested it, you can take on ArchAngel!" Joe throws the mic down and runs backstage with a huge grin on his face as the show cuts to a commercial.

A Dozen Red Roses
Koji Tamura walked into a local San Jose florist shop and began to look
around. After searching for a moment he found where the roses were kept. He
looked over the roses that were kept in dozens and picked out the best dozen.

flowers in a floral wrap and handed them back to Koji. He then thanked her

Singin' The Ring Crew blues
The Asylum’s ring crew member who took credit for giving the pearl necklace
to Sharon Lee was pacing back and forth backstage with an electrical cord in his
hands. Little did he know that the cord he was holding was about to be tightened
around his neck.
"Hey, I need to talk to you about something," Koji Tamura’s voice rang from
the corridor.
The crew man barely had enough time to turn around. He saw Koji Tamura
sprinting down the corridor and it was too late. Koji leapt onto him and began
pounding him mercilessly. He tried putting his hands up to shield his face, but
Koji must have read his mind because he took the electrical cord and tied the
crew man’s hands together. He continued beating on the helpless man until he
stopped moving. Koji smiled to himself.
"Never take credit for something that isn’t yours."
The scene faded back to the ring as Koji continued walking down the corridor
like nothing had ever happened.

Evil Makes an Appearence
The camera's switched from the Arena to the parking lot, where Silence was seen walking towards the arena, Suddenly Interviewer Eddie Francis appeared, along with the camera crews.
"Silence, Silence!" Eddie cried.
Silence spun around with a look of Evil in his eyes. "Silence, Sir.." Eddie Began, "Why are you targeting your hatred at Mikey Riggs?"
"I am only doing what is Needed to Win the war". Silence smiled, before walking away into the darkness, Eddie stood confused, as the camera's went back to the arena.

First Words
The scene moved to the locker room of Koji Tamur, Koji was preparing for his match went over to a corner of the locker room
and picked up the dozen roses that he had bought earlier in the day. He opened
the door to his locker room and began to slowly and hesitantly walk down the
corridor. Sharon Lee’s locker room was only three doors down, but Koji took
every step slowly, almost like he was afraid to talk to her. He approached her
locker room door and took a deep breath before knocking. She slowly opened the
door and smiled as she saw the roses.
"Uh, these are for you, Sharon. Good luck with your match tonight."
Koji stammered through his heavy breathing.
"Thank you Koji, good luck to you too" Sharon’s pleasant
voice rang through Koji’s head as he smiled.
"Well, I– I’m here to tell you something."
"What is it, Koji?"
"Um, that neck– necklace you got for Christmas wasn’t from that crew member,"
Koji’s voice was wavering from nervousness, it caused a small laugh from Sharon
Lee.
"It– It was from me".
"Well, I saw you walk by last Saturday. Why didn’t you say it was from
you?"
"I– I guess..." Koji trailed off as Nerva cut in on him.
"Were you afraid I wouldn’t accept it?" Koji nodded his head as Nerva
continued. "You shouldn’t have been afraid. But, you barely know me, why would
you get me something as expensive as that beautiful necklace?"
"Well, I thought it was nice and– and I thought you might like something like
that."
"Koji, I love it. But like I said, we don’t even know each other. I should
give it back to you."
"No don’t," Koji protested. "Keep it. It looks very nice on you. And besides,
I don’t want it back. It’s my gift to you."
"But–", Nerva started to protest, but Koji put his hand up.
"But nothing. It’s yours and I don’t want anything in return. Just keep
it."
Koji turned around and started walking off. Nerva felt powerless to go after
him and say something. She watched him walk down the corridor before returning
into her locker room. But she dropped the roses on the ground and they go cut in
half as she closed the door. The scene cut back to the Asylum as the next match was
about to get underway.

gold lettering.
"Now Noel let me read to you from the “good”

Surprise?
The camers's went to the back, where Silence was shown pacing back and forth, Suddenly a member of the ring crew passed him uttering "Good luck on Wednesday", This seemed to Puzzle Silence, who abruptly headed to Joe's office.
Silence swung the door open.
"Heh, I've been expecting you." Joe uttered.
Silence looked at Joe with a glare.
"Saves me having to come looking for you, anyway, Wednesday, I've signed You Vs Riggsy, oh and Bring Danielle, as she's gonna be stuck 30 feet above the ring, simple,
Whoever wins gets to keep her, ok?"
A firey look develops in Silences eyes, he makes a fist, and crushes a glass ournament on Joe's table before storming out.
"Heh, thats coming out of your wages" Uttered Joe, as the scene cut back to the arena.

Impetigo Vs Boomer McAugust

‘Infest’ by Papa Roach was the song which prompted a good
response from the Asylum fans, as the strange newcomer Impetigo made his way
down to the ring, Impetigo, a man named after a disease which once plagued him,
walked down to the ring, Scratching his head, his head matted, donned in a
filthy t-shirt, and a pair of ripped Jeans, Impetigo stood in the Asylum, as
another Newcomers music began to play, Power Man’s ‘Supernova Goes Pop’ played,
And Boomer McAugust stepped through the curtains, he received an instant boo
from the crowd, but merely shrugged it off, running to the Asylum, and leaping
on Impetigo, both men rolled around for several moments, exchanging blows,
Impetigo surprisingly took advantage, rolling on top of Boomer, and hitting him
around the head Several times, Impetigo picked up Boomer, and whipped him to
the Steel rim and mesh of the Asylum, Boomer hit hard, walking Straight into
Impetigo, who took his head, and bashed it against the mesh, Boomer managed to
get in some offense, Hitting Impetigo low, and repeatedly smashing his face
into the Steel rim, causing his nose to bleed, As Impetigo slumped against the
Mesh, Boomer stuck several hard boots into him, before running up, and hitting
him with a baseball Slide Dropkick to the ribs. Boomer picked up Impetigo, and
attempted to whip him to the Steel Structure, however, Impetigo slammed on the
breaks, Hitting Boomer with a knee to the ribs, and a Short arm Clothesline!
Impetigo then sets Boomer up for an irish whip or his own, but it is reversed
and Impetigo’s back slams into the railing. Impetigo screams in pain for just a
brief second before he regains composure and charges at Boomer. Boomer is quick
to lower his back and deliver a back body drop to Impetigo. Impetigo hits the
mat hard, Boomer then turns around and begins to just kick the rib area of
Impetigo numerous times. Boomer then drops to his knees and applies a chokehold
on Impetigo. Impetigo gasps for air, then rakes the eyes of Boomer so that the
hold is released. Boomer is holding his face, Impetigo gets to his feet
breathing rather heavily before sending his elbow crashing into the spine of
Boomer. Impetigo managed to turn things around by applying a pile driver on
Boomer. Impetigo brings Boomer up, and sends him into the steel railing. He
charges in with a lariat, and then begins to go to work on Boomer, hitting him
with a series of lariats while trapped up against the cage, Impetigo switched
the lariats to boots, before setting up
Boomer for his finisher, ‘The Filth Drop’ , However….it seemed an unlikely
saviour was on his way to the ring…
Griff Truxell.
As the crowd hit erupted with Boo’s, Truxell hit the ring,
chair in hand, Before swinging the chair at Impetigo, who ducked, Wrapping
Griff Truxell up in a Full Nelson! Boomer staggered to his feet, and picked up
the chair, Pointing at Griff, and smiling, much to the crowds delight, Impetigo
gave Boomer the go-ahead to hit Griff, And as Boomer swung, something happened.
Griff Ducked.
Boomer swing hit Impetigo, almost decapitating him as he
flew back into the Mesh, laying almost unconscious against it, a look of
disdain came across Boomer’s face, clearly upset at hitting Impetigo, But then
out of no-where, Boomer did something that cemented his status as a hated man.
Crack, a Second chair shot was delivered to the skull, the crowd erupted in
boo’s, as Boomer swung a third char shot, and a fourth, Impetigo was
unconscious, bleeding heavily as the referee awarded the win to Boomer via
knockout, Griff got to his feet, and he and Boomer exchanged an icy glare,
before suddenly, Boomer Dropped the chair, and He and Griff generated an chorus
of Boo’s from the crowd.
They Hugged

jeering the downed Impetigo, as the show went to commercial.
T.V. Title, 1* Contender Graphic Violence Vs Griff Truxell

The show came back from commercial, as the crowd showered a
newcomer with Boos. ‘Wake Up’ by Rage Against the Machine was the song, as
Griff Truxell strode down the isle, Truxell, who made an impact on entry, by
attacking newly crowned T.V. Champion Matthew, was set for a high start, as a
win tonight would see him the Number one contender for Matthew’s title. Griff
however had a huge obstacle stood in his way. Graphic Violence. A man who’d
arrived with an equally emphatic display, dropping an Anvil from 50 feet into
the air to the ring, made his way down to the sound of Papa Roaches ‘Last
Resort’, both men stood eye to eye as the tension built, and inevitably, the
crowd did what was expected when the two men they hated most began to tear into
each other. They Cheered. Lefts and Rights, exchanged Between Truxell and GV
for several moments, neither man backing down, Advantage was soon taken
however, GV landed a stiff knee to Truxell’s gut, before sending him down with
a hard axe-handle to the back of the head, Truxell fell to his knee’s, quickly
finding out what the Asylum was about, GV…a Veteran in comparison to Truxell’s
experience, begin to kick Truxell around the head, repeatedly, Truxell then
made the mistake of backing himself into the mesh, from which there was no
escape, Griff was the victim of several punches, before having his head slammed
repeatedly into the mesh, Griff’s head expectedly began to bleed from the back,
however, Griff signalled the start of the turn in the match. Truxell Managed to
thumb GV in the eye, and then in a flurry of nasty variations, low blowed him,
Rammed his head into the Steel Asylum rim, before slamming him head first into
the mesh, Truxell now saw light, taking a run up….he proceeded to make a
mistake. GV stood, as Truxell ran at him, and hit a sequence of moves which
made the crowd gasp. First came a Drop Toe hold, sending Truxell face first
into the Hard Steel, GV then spun Truxell, grasping him in a headlock, and
running across the canvas of the Asylum, ramming Truxell’s head into the
opposite side of the Asylum, Truxell spun, Dazed, and Extremely confused, and
walked straight into a hard clothesline, Truxell began to crawl away, as GV
stalked him, GV lifted Truxell over his head into a military press, signalling
that he was about to throw Truxell out, and end the match, GV however had
underestimated Truxell’s ability, as Seconds later, Griff Truxell swept GV’s
right hand aside, dropping behind GV, and low blowing him, before turning, and
delivering a hard neckbreaker, Griff spun straight ont GV, sitting on his
chest, and battering him around the head with rights and lefts, finishing
things off by bouncing GV’s head off the ground seven or eight times, Griff
stood up, and Hooked the kneeling GV around the waist, attempting a german
suplex, Griff suddenly grimaced in pain, the mass of GV proved too much As
Griff struggled to lift him, Suddenly without warning, GV flung his own head
back, connecting directly with Truxell’s mouth, Truxell released his grip,
allowing GV that vital centimetre required to spin, and Hit an Stunning
Evenflow DDT! GV rolled back, leaning againt the mesh and showing his trademark
sadistic Grin, as Truxell groggily got to his feet, as GV stood, peaparing to
end the match, without the realisation. That the end of his match, was
strolling down the ramp, Steel Chair in hand.
Tommy Gunn.
The crowd in the arena erupted, as Gunn calmly made his way
down the isle, Grasping a steel folding chair, and glaring at Graphic Violence,
Gunn clambered the small Asylum-Side steps, standing on a level with GV, GV,
whom had picked up Truxell to position him for ‘Unsuitable for Children’ spun,
seeing Tommy, and dropping Truxell, Tommy Gunn swung the chair with all his
might.
And Missed.
The momentum caused Gunn to promptly drop the chair into the
Asylum, As GV landed a shot to his face, causing him to sway back, GV then
approached, without the realisation that the sequence of events which would
follow were to see him knocked out.
Gunn swayed back towards GV, and in a split second,
Instinctively grabbed GV’s head, And striking like a snake, he dropped,
catching GV’s neck with his finisher ‘The Recoil’ directly over the Asylum rim,
GV’s head flung back with a whiplash effect, as Gunn smiled, walking away, GV slowly
turned, and was met by Griff Truxell, Who kicked him in the gut, and Delivered
a finishin Piston DDT onto the steel chair which had previously found its way
into the Asylum, Ten second later, Griff Truxell had won, making him the Number
one contender for the T.V. title, ‘Wake Up’ once again played, as Truxell left,
perhaps realising Just how lucky he was to take the victory on this occasion,
as Truxell left, GV slowly came too, as the big screen imagery showed his
bloodied face, his eyes were almost red with rage, GV didn’t smile this time
however, he quickly stood to his feet, and walked backstage with quite some
intent.

Aftermath
A short break later, the camera’s caught up with GV
backstage, in his hand he clutched a broken glass bottle, the crowd gasped upon
seeing this, as GV rounded a corner and saw Tommy Gunn, GV ran at Gunn, who
turned just in time to be cut across the chest, Gunn reeled back in agony, As
GV threw down the bottle, the two began a short brawl, which saw them end up in
the loading bay of the Arena, the two fought through packing crates, and boxes
of assorted equipment, Gunn momentarily took advantage, cracking GV in the head
with a breeze block, Gunn however got his feet caught in the nearbye camera
cable, allowing GV to smash a Crate of equipment over his head, Gunn fell back,
as GV prepared to bring down the breeze block in his face, Gunn however found
an Unexpected savior.
Four Cast iron Barrels.
GV, as he was about to slam the breeze block into Gunn’s
face, disappeared under the Cast iron Barrels, the camera’s moved onto Joe, who
stood with a control panel in his hand, things were quickly made apparent that
Joe had released the Barrels from on net above onto GV’s head, Joe walked over
to Gunn, who was kicking the barrels which GV lay under, suddenly however, the
Barrels began to move, prompting Joe and Gunn to make a quick exit from the
scene.
T.V. Title Matthew(C) Vs Sanjuro

The television title, the 'second' most prestigious achievement in the
Asylum. Matthew has it, Sanjuro wants it. Matthew has no easy task in front
of him. Many fans and critics of the Asylum hail Sanjuro as the uncrowned
champion when he took Pete Borst to, and beyond the limit. "Killin' In The
Name Of" by Rage Against the Machine begins to blare over the P.A. System
and Sanjuro makes his way down to the ring. But his entrance was cut short
as "Scum of the Earth" by Rob Zombie begins to play and Matthew makes his
presence felt when he steps through the curtains. He stands before the
crowd, TV Title around his waist and his arms crossed on his chest. He
slowly makes his way to the 'ring'. He enters through the gate and hands his
title to the ref. The ref holds it above his head to signify that this match
is indeed for the title. Sanjuro stands in one corner stretching his legs
and arms. Matthew stands opposite him, motionless. The bell sounds and the
match is underway. Matthew and Sanjuro lock up. Sanjuro uses his height to
try and gain an advantage, but the more powerful Matthew just pushes Sanjuro
back into the cages' railing. The two lock up again, this time Sanjuro
places his foot behind Matthew's and takes him down to the mat. Sanjuro is
quick to mount Matthew and start throwing rights and lefts to the face and
rib area. Matthew sees and opening and makes good with one stiff right to
the nose of Sanjuro. Sanjuro's eyes begin to water and he has to stop his
attack. Matthew reaches his feet and sends Sanjuro down hard with a
clothesline. Matthew grabs Sanjuro by the back of the head and lifts him to
his feet. Matthew attempts a suplex, but Sanjuro blocks it. He tries again,
but gets the same results. After a third attempt, Sanjuro turns it into a
suplex of his own, but instead of sending Matthew down on his back…he sends
him crashing down on his stomach and face with a facebuster suplex. Matthew
is not going to stay down that easily. He begins to slowly make his way up
to his feet. Sanjuro takes Matthew by the back of the head and walks him
over by the railing. Sanjuro takes Matthew's head all the way back and sends
it flying forward onto the steel railing. Again Sanjuro takes the head of
Matthew and bashes it against the railing. Matthew falls on his back.
Sanjuro stands on top of the cages railing and goes for a moonsault. Matthew
moves and Sanjuro's stomach hits the mat hard. Matthew staggers to his knees
and locks on a crossfaced chicken wing on Sanjuro. The ref asks if Sanjuro
wants to give up, but he yells out "no". Matthew cranks back and Sanjuro
screams out in pain. Once again the ref asks, but Sanjuro says "no" for the
second time. Matthew is frustrated and lets go of the hold. Matthew lifts
Sanjuro up and irish whips him into the railing. Sanjuro hits the railing
where the door is and he breaks the latch and flies to the outside. Being he
didn't go over the top, he is still is in this match up. Matthew quickly
follows him outside much to the ill-advisement of the ref. Matthew grabs the
arm of Sanjuro and attempts to whip him into the steel railing, but Sanjuro
reverses hit. Matthew is sent crashing hard into the railing as the fans
cheer and pat him on the back. Sanjuro walks over to the announcer table and
takes a chair. He walks back over to Matthew, who's had time to recover, and
lifts the chair above his head. Matthew kicks Sanjuro is the stomach, the
chair drops to the ground. Matthew picks it up and hits Sanjuro over the
back with the chair. Sanjuro clutches his back in pain but has no time to
recover as Matthew places the chair on the ground. Matthew takes the head of
Sanjuro and places it between his legs. He looks at the crowd, then hits a
devastating piledriver right onto the chair. A sickening thud is heard
throughout the arena. Matthew then throws the chair into the Asylum and
drags Sanjuro back in. Sanjuro is split open from the piledriver onto the
chair. Blood is flowing freely from his forehead. Matthew goes to lift up
Sanjuro, but Sanjuro hits him right in the family jewels. Sanjuro staggers
to his feet and grabs the chair. Matthew gets to his feet and turns around,
Sanjuro cranks back the chair and swings. Matthew ducks and gives a right
hook to Sanjuro's jaw. He then hits a left jab to his stomach followed by a
club to the back of Sanjuro's neck which sends Sanjuro down to his knees.
Matthew then takes one vicious kick to Sanjuros' head and he hits the mat
hard. The blood from Sanjuros' face flies across the ring. Matthew just
executed his finisher, the Cuntnahajamatt Combo. The ref checks Sanjuro but
he is knocked out cold. Matthew retains his TV Title via knockout in 29
