Welcome to the history area of the website, here you'll be able to have a quick review of the bloody history of the promotion, from rising to the dizzy heights of being one of the most violent and successful television shows in history to the mighty fall of being... where it is now.

2003
JANUARY

Year four in the Asylum started much the same as year three had. pAin had seen the death of another influential fighter who had threatened to destroy the company by their very presence, now that Exxa Decimal was dead the question hanging in the air what the Asylum would become next, his Stranglehold army had a new leader in the shape of Chris Universal.

• Universal attempted to rally his Stranglehold troops in the wake of Exxa Decimal's death, many within the faction were no longer prepared to fight now that it had become abundantly clear that their lives were on the line. The group compared Universal to Custer making a last stand, still defiant Universal ordered that Ace Carter defeat Villam Ender and take his Asylum Championship to restore some power and confidence to the faction.

• Campbell basked in the glory of his return to power following pAin. Briefly contemplating drinking whisky that was potentially cyanide laced in the pursuit of dying happy, Joe was interrupted by dodgy lawman Nicholas Quaid. Quaid informed Joe that his wife Michelle was recovering from her injuries in hospital and would soon be able to testify against Asylum in court, leading Joe to come up with the quickfire solution of having Dez Aragon kill her... problem solved.

• New champ Villam Ender demanded that the fans pay attention to his god like traits. Villam was quick to deliver the big fuck off to several former champions before turning his shotgun tongue on Joe Campbell himself. A confident looking Joe was quick to arrive with The Zone, Inmate and Dez Aragon close behind, reminding Villam that not only did he have his own group of mercenaries but that as possibly the most hated champion in Asylum history... the whole roster was against Villam and he was all alone. Joe revealed the first obstacle in Villam's path to be none other than Ace Carter, announcing that he'd killed two birds with one stone by snatching Chris Universal's last remaining loyalist away from him. Villam however didn't seem too concerned to be facing Ace later in the night.

• Tension within the ranks of The Zone began to display itself as Slapnutz had a confrontation with The Freak because he hadn't been chosen to fight for The Zone at pAin. The dispute was quickly settled by the two men agreeing to go head to head in the cage.

• A simple game of rock, paper, scissors between egg NOG and cHEESE ended up seeing the newly created physics professor move disproving the black hole move in order for cHEESE to win... if you're confused then you're definitely not alone.

• Freak and Slapnutz went at and the fight was nearly over in seconds when Freak nearly emasculated Slap's nuts with a garden shovel. The early stages of the fight proved extremely uneven as Freak continued to put Slapnutz down only for the Scotsman to refuse to stay there, the appliance of Exxa Decimal's trademark submission hold by Freak saw the whole crowd chanting for Slapnutz to tap out and end the torture... but again Slapnutz refused. Finally Freak attempted to cut up Slapnutz with a blade but intervention by TMM fortunately prevented Slap from being cut, before any further damage could be done Stranglehold made their presence felt by attempting to strike The Zone while they were at their weakest. Ruben Ross, Biggs and Jeff Garvin tore into The Freak with lead pipes and beat him down to the canvas only for Slapnutz to make a surprising save despite his beaten physical state, taking all three Stranglehold members out before shaking hands with The Freak and reuniting the comradery of The Zone.

• Venoma Star pulled off a surprise victory against the monsterous Ricky Wasp.

• Villam Ender didn't fuck about in getting his point across to those who wished to see him dethroned as Asylum Champion, making quick work of Ace Carter and completely snapping his arm to pieces in their main event fight.

• Campbell unflinchingly ironed out the details of the execution of his wife with the executioner himself; Dez Aragon.

• Another show kicked off with Villam in full on army of one mode, confronted by Joe Campbell who not only had the collective members of The Zone, but Inmate, Dez Aragon and Devoid by his side. In a move that WWE would later rip off to the max, Campbell revealed the wheel of fuck, a wheel contraption that would determine certain kinds of fights to take place across the night. A few spins of the wheel later and it was revealed that Villam would be facing The Freak in a lumberjack sledgehammer fight later on in the night.

• Slapnutz and TMM announced the beginning of their Asylum Idle competition, somewhere across the globe Simon Cowell prepared a lawsuit.

• Chris Universal continued to struggle to keep his dying Stranglehold faction on their feet, confronting The Freak and the rest of The Zone in an altercation that suggested both groups would face off for a final time at Persecution.

• The yearly ritual of women slugging it out in the shower and Joe packaging it up and selling it as porn contined, when Venoma Star, Lotus and Tapestry went at it naked in the back.

• Freak showed Noah Hawkins a picture of something so horrific his screams would've woken the dead had his mouth not been taped shut, it was surely a picture of goatse man.

• Villam Ender prepared well for his match with The Freak by verbally urinating all over most of the fighters that were going to be sledge hammer wielding lumberjacks, fear was certainly not a four letter word that Villam was familiar with.

• A brutal affair between The Freak and Villam Ender ended when Villam defied the odds to retain his Asylum Championship by knocking Freak out. Despite coming out the winner Villam was almost subject of a beating at the hands of The Zone and Dez Aragon, but the clever distraction of Exxa Decimal's old theme music and the lights going out provided Villam with the chance to escape through the crowd... the mystery however was the fact that nobody knew who had rolled the music and pyros and come to Villam's aid.

• A verbal spat between Chris Universal and Joe Campbell revealed many things, that Joe wasn't eating properly, that Chris Universal was like a turd that wouldn't flush and that the two would meet head to head at Persecution for ownership of the company.

• Villam reacted to being told he was barred from the arena by beating the shit out of security and coming in anyway.

• The Zone once again gave Stranglehold a verbal lashing, leading Chris Universal to appear and declare that he was tired of hearing the faction and their ridiculous English accents. Before Universal could finish his commentary he was attacked by Splink and Joe Campbell, Campbell delivered the three commandments to Universal... all of which were "do not fuck with Joe Campbell" and involved a punch and some screaming to get the point across. Joe let Universal know he'd be facing Keegan later in the night until Ruben Ross arrived to not only save Universal from further punishment but secure a fight with Freak as well.

• Monster of a man Alexander Von DeThatt arrived in the Asylum and declared himself the next legend in the making.

• Jeff Garvin defeated Tapestry to illustrate that Stranglehold were in good form heading into Persecution.

• Campbell informed Villam that if he wanted to talk to him he'd have to get past Dez Aragon, Villam seemed happy to oblige and headed backstage.

• The Freak knocked out Ruben Ross and took a victory as revenge for Ross saving Universal earlier in the night. After the fight Noah Hawkins and Garvin turned up to put a beating on Freak but before Hawkins could exact revenge and cut his enemy up with a switchblade... Freak had a bizarre picture of Hawkins dressed up like Freak displayed on the video wall with a message that he and Freak were just alike. Hawkins dropped the blade to the canvas and left, refusing to be a part of Freak's game... but perhaps it was too late to walk away.

• Inmate defeated John C. Willis via knockout.

• Freak convinced himself that in order to prove himself to Campbell he'd have to murder someone like Villam Ender had.

• Formerly a white supremacist, Ricky Wasp continued to confuse people by looking increasingly more like a tranny. Least impressed was Token Weed who took to the ring and after hearing a few bizarre rhymes from Wasp, attacked him only to find himself on the end of a piledriver and Wasp disappearing to bring confusing matters to an end.

• Slapnutz declared himself winner of Asylum Idle, despite not having a lisp like Gareth Gates, being gay like Will Young or having a nice big arse like Kelly Clarkson.

• Chris Universal defeated hardened fighter Keegan via knockout, not a good sign for Joe Campbell who would meet Universal at Persecution.

• Worlds collided when king of the underground Dez Aragon fought king of the world Villam Ender, it was brutal, bloody and unresolved as the two fought to a double ringout draw. The two were not deterred by the bell however and continued to slug it out after the fight only for Campbell and security to turn up and take Villam out... the show ending with Campbell delivering a face full of mace to Villam and Villam swearing death upon Campbell and his crew at Persecution.

• Campbell versus Universal opened Persecution extremely early... as Joe gave Universal a wakeup call in his hotel at 7am by pouring a cup of hot coffee over his genitalia and smashing him about the head with a breakfast tray. Joe revealed that he'd had the floor of the hotel cleared by setting up a false fire alert and that Universal was all alone... the two proceeded to scrap about the room exchanging blows and insults. Universal took advantage and having coshed Joe's face in with a sliding door... attempted to throw him over the balcony to his certain death, unfortunately Dez Aragon turned up and pistol whipped Universal before throwing him through the sliding door without opening it first. Cut up by the shattered glass and in a bad way... Universal almost found himself put down for good as Dez screwed a silencer onto his pistol only for Campbell to halt proceedings. Joe forced Universal to sign Asylum away once and for all and return full ownership to Campbell, as Campbell and Aragon boldly discussed the most efficient way to kill of Universal right in front of him... Joe had an epiphany. Levelling the gun on Universal the only bang was that which Joe shouted before laughing at Universal... Joe had decided that rather than kill Universal he'd give him a fate worse than death by making him live on with nothing.

• Handy looking bastard Aledander Von DeThatt made his debut with an unsurprising landslide victory over Chris Credible.

• The Zone and Stranglehold took part in one of the craziest battles in Asylum history and what was proven to be the last of their encounters. The Zone came out victorious in a fight that saw an arena in flames and a helicopter escape. The final moments of the brawl saw Hawkins refuse to take Freak's hand as the arena behind them erupted in flames... Freak left Hawkins to burn and Noah would never be seen again.

• Inmate took on Villam Ender for the Asylum Championship with Joe Campbell officiating in an attempt to conspire against Villam and see him removed of the title... things took a bizarre turn however when Joe and Villam set upon Inmate and revealed themselves to back back in cahoots, as the two headed to the back with Villam victorious Inmate got on the microphone and demanded an immediate rematch with a submission only stipulation. Villam returned to the cage and after a few close calls choked out Inmate with some barbed wire... the god of fight had been victorious twice in one night.

FEBRUARY

The union of Campbell and Ender had been restored and thus February looked a grim month for everyone else involved with Asylum. Villam had looked formidable as champion and an alliance with Joe looked as though it would galvanize Ender's reign even more... could anyone stop Villam?

• Joe celebrated the removal of Chris Universal's share in the company with an almighty pissup, Campbell was in such good mood that he even allowed the usually bullied and beaten Mike Westwood to share a beer in celebration.

• Alex Von DeThatt was informed he'd get a team title shot with Freak against the Legion Of Dairy, unfortunately for Alex, Freak would refuse to team with him and defeat the pair on his own in a handicap fight without the titles on the line... DeThatt was not a happy man.

• DeThatt was not alone, when upon asking Campbell how he could prove himself Freak was asked by Joe to clean the toilets and make him a cup of coffee. Unfortunately Freak didn't see the funny side and demanded something greater from Joe, who ordered Freak to fuck up Ty Hughes if he had nothing better to do.

• Ty Hughes defeated Darren Mitchell and immediately found himself involved in a spat with Freak that quickly turned sour for Hughes... who found himself on the receiving end of several chair shots before having his head sandwiched between a pair of steel ring steps.

• Keegan tried his hand at being a nu romantic by reciting a poem about arse buggering to Tapestry.

• Freak added grand theft auto to the arson he'd committed the previous week by stealing Ty Hughes car and using it to kidnap him.

• Jeff Garvin returned as a sole survivor from Stranglehold's demolition at Persecution, revealing he had an exclusive contract with Asylum that meant he'd be sticking around whether Joe Campbell liked it or not.

• Freak put the shits up Ty Hughes by taking him out to the middle of the woods and leaving him there blindfolded, handcuffed and alone.

• Believing that the party atmosphere from the week previous was rolling on... Mike Westwood turned up in Campbell's office drunk and with a hooker on his arm. Campbell threatened to shoot him only to reconsider because missing and hitting the hookers fake breasts would cause an explosion that would kill everyone in the room, settling instead for having Dez break Westwood's ribs.

• Ty Hughes returned having been safed from his blind in the woods ordeal by a bunch of campers, suitably unimpressed Ty called out The Freak only to get Willis, Tapestry and Keegan of The Zone instead. The trio beat down Hughes until Freak finally showed his face and quickly went about having Hughes strung up by the neck and informing him that he intended to toy with him and ruin his life before giving him the dignity of death.

• Jeff Garvin revealed his new Submission Championship that was surely just a ploy to mask the fact he didn't like being punched in the face, Keegan was quickly on hand to declare himself a contender.

• Campbell fired for the last time ever... again.

• Jeff Garvin's bid to make a title that perfectly complimented his fighting style nearly went tits up when Keegan almost made him submit to take the Submission Championship.

• The Freak knocked out Remy Leroux and cut his trademark X into Remy's face, a harsh price to pay for looking like Gambit out of the X-Men.

• The term earminter returned to the Asylum, straight out of Chris Credible's mouth and into the ear of Ty Hughes, who promptly knocked Credible out. Just as he did the week previous, Freak once again attempted to ambush Ty Hughes but this time Hughes was ready and quickly put paid to Grail with a baseball bat.

• Despite their fight ending in a no contest when Garvin hobbled away, Keegan relentlessly pursued Garvin backstage and forced him to submit... holding onto an ankle lock through the window of a moving vehicle. Amidst the commotion Garvin dropped his Submission Championship and Keegan quickly put the finders keepers law into effect.

• LLB retained his T.V. strap against Eddie Cheno.

• Chris Credible cut a heart moving speech about how he would no longer yield and allow people to push him around, a speech capped off with Dez Aragon punching Credible in the face.

• Villam returned and declared his bloodbath antics to have forced Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhies, Anime Cock Monsters and Satan himself into considering early retirement. Archangel turned up and compared Villam to indoor plumbing by the fact that they were both full of shit, an altercation was quick to take place and to the surprise of many it was Archangel that came out on top... leaving Villam down, out and with things to think about.

• Campbell informed Eddie Cheno he'd be getting a second chance title shot against LLB.

• Ty Hughes turned up looking like a man on the edge, revealing that The Freak and Token Weed had entered his home in the night and shot his father before kidnapping his sister and sending letters stained in her blood. Hughes called out Freak and Freak was quick to arrive and announce the rules of a simple game... if Ty Hughes could defeat Token Weed then his sister would be returned, should he fail she would be held and tortured for a further week. A quick battle between Hughes and Freak on the rampway saw Freak hurled off the stage and allowed Hughes an early opportunity to locate and rescue his sister.

• Joe's drunken haze was interrupted by a phonecall from a man named Sebastian Thompson who wanted a shot at the bigtime.

• Alex Von DeThatt made quick work of Eddie Scott Poser to maintain his 100% win record.

• Token Weed boasted about his status as convincted felon to Ty Hughes' sister before threatening to spill her guts.

• Another Keegan piece of poetic genius arrived in the hands of Tapestry, this time a declaration that he liked to think about her all day and flog the bishop.

• Freak completely obliterated both Darren and Daniel Mitchell of Dream in a handicap fight.

• Jeff Garvin gave an insightful rant on how he was a cool customer even when sat on a toilet in the sahara desert, that he was prepared to fight Chris Credible for the rights to Foo Fighters songs, and that his favourite song was a Shania Twain number, what a wanker.

• Hughes found a note that suggested his sister was being held captive somewhere in the light rigging.

• Jeff Garvin made quick work of Chris Credible to retain his Foo Fighters music, after the fight Keegan returned Garvin his Submission belt only to reveal that he'd pissed on it earlier... just as Garvin planted a kiss on the title.

• Eddie Cheno became the T.V. Champion after a little soul selling on his part saw Freak and Dez Aragon completely obliterate LLB and allow Cheno to pick up the win.

• Token Weed continued to romance Louise Hughes by letting her know which parts of her body he was going to cut off first, the sweet talking quickly ceased however when Ty Hughes arrived on the scene with a baseball bat in hand. The rescue was short lived though as Freak arrived to strangle and dangle Ty from the rafters with a roll of barbed wire... leaving him hanging high, bleeding profusely and no closer to rescuing his sister.

• One of the more memorable and bizarre moments in Asylum history took place when Villam Ender retained his Asylum Championship by choking Archangel unconscious with a giant dildo and quoting he-man.

• A shady meeting between Campbell, Villam and fWo officials revealed that Villam would have free entry to fWo events with a view to making life a misery for Kellen Kinkade.

• Another show got underway with Campbell and Villam rueing the fact that because fWo were touring they'd have to travel all the way to Africa to fuck with Kinkade.

• Campbell and Keegan talked business, subjects included Liam Gallagher being a soft City fan, Michael Jackson and Vanessa Feltz headlining Fight Hell and Willis being a toothless cunt before Keegan left to torment Jeff Garvin further.

• Eddie Cheno defended his T.V. title against Bradley Duncan.

• A paranoid Jeff Garvin nearly pulled the face of a janitor clean off believing that he was Keegan in masked disguise.

• Fresh out of a victorious run in the Smilthy's underground fighting circuit, Sebastian Thompson arrived in the Asylum and was quick to call a bunch of staff members queers and assault one of them in the hunt for Joe Campbell.

• Ty Hughes made a return just one week after being crucified barbed wire style at the hands of Freak. Hughes proposed a fight that would see his title on the line in exchange for his sister should he be victorious, Freak arrived along with Token Weed and the two revealed the next phase of their sick game. Token had a six shooter containing a single bullet, Hughes would face six different opponents and for everyone that defeated him, Token would pull the trigger on Louise Russian roulette style.

• Sebastian Thompson turned up and declared himself next Asylum Champion before boldly making his way to the cage to pick a fight with Freak, who didn't need much baiting. Thompson got his wish and learned a harsh lesson in his first Asylum fight as Freak cruised to victory.

• Ty Hughes won the first of his roulette fights against Daniel Mitchell, sparing his sister from the trigger happy Token Weed for the time being, or at least it would have done had Token not declared Daniel Mitchell the moral victor and pulled the trigger anyway... luckily for Louise the chamber was empty. Next into the cage was Darren Mitchell and the other half of Dream managed a submission victory over Hughes, Token was quick to pull the trigger on Louise again but once again the clicking of an empty chamber spared her life. Alex Von DeThatt was next in the cage and he quickly despatched of Token via knockout meaning that Token again pulled the trigger and again a blank chamber clicked away. Keegan took on Hughes and easily knocked out the fatigued fighter meaning that Louise would face the gun toting Token once again... the sadist pulled the trigger only to fire another blank but Ty's sister would surely run out eventually. With the Freak repeatedly working over Hughes during the fights it was easy for Tapestry to defeat Hughes... the crowd grimaced almost certain that the next shot would be the one to blow Louise away but to Token's frustation it was again a blank, simple mathematics meant another loss for Hughes would mean a bullet in the head for his sister. Ricky Wasp hit the cage and the crowd could barely watch as the monster looked to put Ty away and seal his sisters fate... fate however still had a part to play and an instinctive duck by Hughes sent Wasp sailing out of the cage and ensured that the final bullet in the six shooter would not be fired. Freak hit the cage and agreed to stick to his bet with Hughes... he Token and Ty would meet in a barbed wire cage at Bloody Valentine, but before he could finish Ty broke free of his shackles, knocked Freak down and rushed backstage to be confronted by Token Weed. One gun flash later Ty had narrowly evaded being shot as the bullet grazed past him and inflicted a flesh wound, Bloody Valentine was not far away and the odds were once again stacked against Hughes.

• Bloody Valentine opened where the previous event had closed with Ty Hughes making another stand against Freak and Token Weed. Freak came out to confront Hughes and the two had a rare non-violent exchange... largely due to the fact that Freak was wearing Louise Hughes almost as though she was armour. Freak announced that due to some issues he'd had with Token Weed, Token would not be participating in the barbed wire cell match later in the night, Hughes and Freak were to go at it man to man.

• The first fight of a women's tournament saw Venoma Star advance via defeating Angel Dawson.

• Another women's tournament fight saw impressive newcomer Karen Pembridge defeat Samantha McCall via submission.

• In the third women's tournament fight, Kali Saturos failed to turn up and was replaced by Faith who was quickly defeated by Tapestry.

• Wrestling superstar Aimz made the transition to fighting seem easy by defeating Vertigo to book her place in the next round of the tournament.

• Despite picking up a neck injury in her first fight, Karen Pembridge still took on Venoma Star in their tournament fight but the injury proved too great a setback and Venoma advanced via submission.

• Having ambushed Kinkade at an fWo event and brought him to Bloody Valentine, Campbell and Villam managed to get an Immortal title shot out of him, but only on the condition that Villam could first beat Tapestry, Willis and Venoma Star in a handicap fight.

• Eddie Cheno retained his T.V. title against Max Danger, despite receiving a great deal of help in winning the title it now appeared as though Eddie was fully capable of defending it by himself.

• Aimz surprisingly advanced in the women's tournament, defeating hardened fighter Tapestry despite coming from a largely wrestling background, many began to wonder if she could go all the way.

• Garvin and Keegan fought an absolutely epic battle, and even though Keegan had seemingly been carrying the upper hand for the best part of a month it was Jeff Garvin who took a surprising victory... not only making Keegan submit but using an ankle lock to do it.

• Villam made his usual fight buildup commentary by threatening to punch John C Willis in the cock.

• Venoma Star defeated Aimz in a close battle to end the run of a wrestler and become winner of the women's tournament.

• In another truly epic encounter, Ty Hughes went at it with Freak in an attempt to end their long running and intensely personal feud. In a battle that saw the two deliver great deals of punishment that eclipsed anything they had done to each other in the months previous... it was Ty Hughes who came out on top having completely bound Freak in barbed wire before striking a knockout blow that saw Freak defeated and Louise Hughes finally free from captivity, for once it appeared as though good had triumped over evil in the Asylum.

• Villam Ender sharply dealt with Willis, Tapestry and Venoma Star in his handicap fight to book himself a battle with Kinkade in the main event.

• Kellen Kinkade tore into Villam before he could even recover from his handicap victory to kick off the main event that would see ironman rules determine who would be the holder of both the Immortal and Asylum Championship belts. The first three seconds of the ironman match were Kinkade scoring a pinfall over Villam having decimated him with a steel chair and the pace continued as such... with Kinkade establishing an early and huge 5-1 falls lead over Villam. In an almost cinematic fairytale manor however Villam battled back to level the scores at 5-5 going into the dying minutes and seconds of the fight, far from fairytale however was the ending. Villam knocked Kinkade out and cheaply threw him out of the Asylum and whilst keeping a grip on his wrist, proceeded to drag him back in and dump him out again repeatedly to take the score to an eventual 10-5 lead in his own favour that Kinkade simply didn't have the time to come back from... Villam Ender was still Asylum Champion and the new Immortal Champion, or at least he would have been. In the aftermath of the fight Kinkade pulled a gun on Ender and in an incident that will forever be disputed by fans as to whether Kinkade was threatening Villam or himself with the gun... Ender decided to return the title to Kinkade.

MARCH

March rolled around with the word revenge hanging in the air, following Kinkade's gun toting outburst at Bloody Valentine, Campbell had sworn to take out his frustrations on the fWo. Not only this but the likes of Keegan, The Freak and Token Weed were all reeling from physical and psychological defeats and surely looking for some redemption.

• Discontent with the fact that his rigorous sex session with Angelina Jolie was only a dream, Campbell awoke to briefly complain to himself about having to fly to Africa just to fuck with the fWo before trying to get back to sleep (presumably to the sexing, we've all done it).

• Quite possibly the most bizarre and surreal segment in the history of the promotion took place when Christ and Satan went at it in the middle of the cage, they weren't the real Christ and Satan of course... Chris Credible had turned up claiming to be Lucifer and Steve Christ made his Asylum return to shut Lucifer the fuck up.

• A triumphant Ty Hughes hit the cage and let Freak know he was still keeping a close eye on him before reminding Token he hadn't forgotten the part he'd played in the kidnapping of Louise Hughes and that Weed would still be made to pay.

• Sebastian Thompson continued to struggle in translating his winning streak from underground fighting into the commercial world of the Asylum, losing to Gacy via knockout a sure sign that he was still struggling to find form.

• Hughes hit the cage once again, this time to reveal that he was now even more confident in the Asylum because he'd acquired the services of undefeated and generally unstoppable Alexander Von DeThatt to watch his back.

• Campbell berated Freak and Token Weed for the squabbling they'd done that'd fucked their attempts to rid Asylum of Ty Hughes up. Joe let the pair know that they could sort their problems out at Mind Games before informing Freak that due to Alex Von DeThatt defecting from Team Campbell, he was free to get rid of VDT however he wished.

• Another shocking moment in Asylum history took place when Freak not only defeated the previously unbeaten Alexander Von DeThatt but flat out killed him by sticking a knife through his eye and into his brains. Backstage Ty Hughes watched the stone cold killing of what was his new bodyguard and did a lot of vomiting before vowing to end his war with The Freak once and for all later in the night.

• Cheno made another impressive defence of his T.V. title, this time against the in form Venoma Star.

• Hughes hit the cage and revealed that he had entered himself into the deadly fight involving Token Weed and Freak at Mind Games and claiming that he would execute Freak just as Freak had executed VDT. Token Weed hit the cage and not only revealed he didn't mind Hughes entering himself into the match at Mind Games... but that he was all for kicking his ass on the spot, rushing to the cage to instigate a fight. Unfortunately for the pair their brawl only lasted a few punches as the arena started to rain blood, Token and Hughes looked up just in time to see Freak cutting up and tossing pieces of Alex Von DeThatt's dead body down onto them from the rafters. Not surprisingly Hughes and Token didn't fancy singing in the rain (of human limbs) and were quick to exit the cage as possibly the sickest show in the history of the promotion came to a close.

• Perhaps still slightly disturbed by having blood and guts spilled on him the show previous, Ty Hughes entered Joe's office and demanded a fight with perhaps the only man as dangerous as Freak in the Asylum; Villam Ender.

• Token Weed found Alex Von DeThatt's rotting forearm in his locker, a daunting gift just weeks away from a fight at Mind Games with the man responsible for Von DeThatt's butchering.

• Steve Christ got into a verbal confrontation with Freak, seemingly unconcerned by the fact that Freak had murdered someone in the cage just one week ago, a certain confidence only the bastard son of god could carry around.

• Sebastian Thompson paid Campbell a visit and demanded a difficult fight, bizarre considering he'd yet to pick up a win in the Asylum cage.

• Ty Hughes was not left out of Freak's gift bearing efforts, the recipient of Von De Thatt's heart and a personal visit from Freak... who took the Extreme title from Hughes and urged him to come and get it.

• Having saved Joe Campbell from a mugging the week previous, a returning Tommy Gunn went up against Thompson and sent him crashing to yet another Asylum defeat.

• Eddie Cheno picked up perhaps his most impressive title retain to date when he defeated Token Weed to once again defend his T.V. title.

• Steve Christ picked up a win against the murderous Freak with help from Ty Hughes who hit Freak in the head with a baseball bat approximately 24 times only for Freak to recover after the fight and imply that he was going to make Hughes pay a hefty price during his title fight with Villam later on.

• Villam did a lot of yawning, very unimpressed with the fact he'd have to take time out of his war with Eli Flair to face Ty Hughes in the main event.

• Ty Hughes received another one of Freak's presents when he found Alex Von DeThatt's hand nailed to his locker door.

• Villam and Hughes went at it with the Asylum Championship on the line and not surprisingly Villam defeated the very psychologically on edge Hughes via knockout without the intervention from Freak that most had anticipated. Freak sat in the back content that his mindfuck had messed Ty up to the extent where he didn't even have to lift a finger to cost him the fight.

• Eli Flair shockingly captured the Asylum Championship from Villam Ender, many were quick to point out that the last wrestler to hold the belt had ended up dead and that if Campbell and Villam had their way... so would Flair.

• The Freak gloated about the fact that he'd discovered a trapdoor to new lows, showing footage of him tossing Alex Von DeThatt's severed face onto his own coffin at his recent funeral... Ty Hughes turned up having had enough and quickly made clear the fact that he now hated Freak to the extent where he was prepared to kill him should the chance arise. Freak retaliated by asking Hughes if he'd ever wanted to fuck his own sister and after that blows were quickly exchanged until Token Weed turned up to add to the madness, the three brawled all over the Asylum, then around it, then up the aisle and finally into the back... apparently their issues couldn't wait to be settled at Mind Games.

• Karen Pembridge looked to acquire a full time Asylum contract in aid of her revenge mission against Tapestry.

• Action went backstage where Hughes, Weed and Freak were still going at it... cameras cutting away just as it appeared Hughes was going to kick Freak to death.

• Tapestry and Venoma Star had a good old bitchfest, the highlight being the crowd chanting hooker at Tapestry repeatedly.

• The Ty Hughes, Token Weed and Freak clusterfuck brawl worsened when Steve Christ turned up and decided to join in.

• In the wake of a humiliating loss of his title to Eli Flair, Villam Ender paid a visit to the cage to remind everyone just how many people he'd raped, maimed and killed and of the fact that he embodied pain, insanity and fear and would be taking the title back next time he crossed paths with Flair.

• Sebastian Thompson picked up his first Asylum victory, not surprisingly it was against Mr. Emo himself Chris Oberst. Unfortunately the win over an opponent that should really have been at home listening to My Chemical Romance and crying made Thompson overly confident to the point where he demanded a second opponent, Karen Pembridge made her arrival and promptly knocked Thompson out to take him back down a peg or two.

• The violenct skirmish between Hughes, Freak, Token and now Christ had arrived on the balcony area of the crowd and saw Christ thrown 20 feet from the balcony by Freak to what was presumably the end of his fighting for the night. With Christ out of the picture the trio continued their blood assault on one another, a battle that seemed as though it could run forever.

• Eddie Cheno's T.V. title run continued with a win over Tapestry and cHEESE.

• The madness continued outside as cameras caught up with the brawling trio just in time to catch Hughes piledrive Freak through a car windshield only to spin directly into Token Weed, who promptly shoved Hughes head through the passenger window.

• Joe Campbell just about managed to prevent Villam Ender and Dez Aragon from squaring off, the results of which would've been far from pretty.

• The huge Token, Hughes and Freak brawl finally came to an end when having choked out Token Weed, Freak got absolutely obliterated by a series of punches from a Ty Hughes that had completely lost it. If the brawl they'd put on said anything it was that their battle at Mind Games would perhaps be one of the greatest the Asylum had ever seen.

• The humiliation for dethroned champion Villam Ender continued as he defeated Fatts McGarron in a farcical main event and was informed by Campbell that if he didn't get his belt back at Mind Games his contract would be terminated.

• Mind Games got underway with the return of long absent Inmate, who announced that he was willing to pay Joe Campbell a healthy sum of the money he'd made from insurance while he'd been out injured in order to get a shot at Eli Flair. Campbell turned up and informed Tyler that he would be fighting but not against Eli Flair... rather Tommy Gunn.

• Sebastian Thompson knocked out emo bleeding heart Chris Oberst again, nobody was surprised.

• Eli Flair shockingly captured the Asylum Championship from Villam Ender, many were quick to point out that the last wrestler to hold the belt had ended up dead and that if Campbell and Villam had their way... so would Flair.

• Eddie Cheno's run as T.V. Champion came to a shocking end when a mystery opponent turned out to be a returning Carnage who not only took victory but the title as well.

• Sebastian Thompson was given a reminder as to what a failure he was by Joe Campbell, having failed to prevent Carnage from showing up and winning the T.V. strap despite claiming he would do so.

• The second epic Keegan and Jeff Garvin encounter took place under best of 3 falls stipulations, pinfall, knockout and finally the submission fall that both men had argued about so greatly in the past. Eager to get revenge against his arch nemesis, Keegan came flying out of the traps and scored the first fall via knockout only for Garvin to quickly level the score via a rollup pinfall. Things however would end unresolved when a 30 minute time limit stipulation that Garvin had secretly implemented expired and the fight went to a bullshit draw.

• In an appearance that displayed more balls than a bingo machine, Poison Ivy turned up in Joe Campbell's office to talk business. Ivy informed Joe that Villam had lured Flair into a title match by pointing a gun at the head of his daughter, to which Campbell could only reply that his daughter was lucky to be alive considered that Villam was crazier than a shithouse rat. Ivy revealed that should anything happen to Flair's daughter she'd make sure that Asylum went down in flames and that Joe would be the first to burn before suggesting a ceasefire truce and that irrespective of whether Flair won or lost later in the night the Asylum Championship would be returned to the Asylum. Campbell was happy to cut a deal and cap off the meeting with a rare show of respect for Ivy... all that remained now was for Villam and Flair to settle their differences in the cage.

• The highly anticipated showdown between Ty Hughes, The Freak and Token Weed finally took place when the three squared off in the fuckpit. In a fight where most expected to see someone die there were plenty of occasions where all three of the individuals had close brushes with death, Freak and Ty Hughes falling almost 40 feet from the top of the structure and straight through a glass tier half way down to the canvas, Token Weed falling not only from the top but staight to the canvas without any glass tier to break his descent thanks to a distraction by none other than Providence, Freak snapping several of Ty's ribs with a pair of ringsteps, Hughes suplexing Freak spine first from a ladder onto the steel rim of the Asylum. The final straw that broke the camel's back however was when Freak... so desperate to defeat Hughes, threw himself 40 feet off the top of the cage to the arena floor in order to beat Hughes to escaping and become victorious and new Extreme Champion. It was almost a short reign however when Hughes acquired a machete after the fight and claimed he was going to kill Freak only to bottle it and opt for punching Freak and insisting the war wasn't over instead... unforunately for Hughes he was right as Freak waited for him to turn his back before jumping him and carving the word weak into the flesh on his back, a month ago good had triumped in the Asylum but now all that filled the air was the intense humming of evil.

• The Mind Games match that would see a new contender for the Asylum Championship crowned came to a controversial ending when a masked individual won the contest, leaving absolutely everyone in the dark as to who the new contender was.

• In a cage of death fight for the Asylum Championship, Villam Ender once again cemented his status as the god of fight by defeating wrestling legend Eli Flair to capture back the Asylum Championship. A brutal brawl that saw the wrestler match Villam blow for blow finally came to a close when Villam levelled Flair with a barbed wire uppercut to end all uppercuts for a knockout victory... before the possibility of a happy and generally bad taste free ending could be contemplated however, Borst hit the cage to not only take out Villam with a chair but in a vile moment decided to run through Villam's 12 year old son Thursday with the title belt for good measure.

APRIL

Villam Ender was once again Asylum Champion having dealt with the problem of Eli Flair at Mind Games, unfortunately for Villam however, it was no sooner that he'd dealt with one problem that another one reared a scarred and ugly head in the shape and form of Borst.

• Ender was quick to address the issue of Borst by simply letting him know he could kiss his ass goodbye.

• Despite almost killing himself to become Extreme Champion at Mind Games, Freak turned up and declared himself fit to fight, the surprise however was not that he was still standing but the fact that Joe Campbell had made stablemate Keegan his opponent.

• Token Weed quickly made his feelings about Providence appearing at Mind Games felt by calling him out amidst a hail of foul language and insults, Providence turned up to confront Weed but before he could even step into the cage Token jumped out of it and tore into Providence... leaving him down and out and promising more to come.

• Keegan and Freak had a fairly awkward and edgy talk leading into their fight later in the night, both men sharing a mutual respect while making clear they both had points to prove to one another and intended to prove them.

• A despondent looking Ty Hughes arrived at the arena with some things to get off his chest.

• Freak and Oddball hit the cage for a celebratory speech on Freak's Extreme title victory at Mind Games, a speech that also involved a verbal lashing of several Asylum fighters but a speech that stopped when they reached Steve Christ only for the man himself to turn up and cease the mockery in the most effective way possible... referring to Freak as Shirley Manson.

• Freak immediately set about shaking off the Shirley Manson tag by defeating fellow Zone member Keegan via knockout to defend his Extreme title.

• Ty Hughes apoligized to the fans for his defeat at Mind Games and vowed to make those who had put him down pay the price.

• Villam let off some steam in Campbell's direction due to the fact that Joe had booked Villam in an unsanctioned fight with Borst, when Villam had simply intended to kill Borst flat out off screen with minimal fuss. Villam accused Campbell of trying to profiteer the fact that Villam taking on Borst would be the biggest grudge match between the biggest two fighters in Asylum history... not surprisingly Joe didn't attempt to defend himself on the matter, rather waited for Villam to leave before sniggering about how rich he was going to be.

• The mysterious Mind Games winner Masked Brawler turned up to use the word dude a profane amount of times before promising to shut Villam up once and for all later in the night.

• Despite getting the upper hand in their scrap earlier in the night, Token Weed conceeded a surprise knockout defeat to Providence.

• Clearly still upset at the fact Steve Christ called him Shirley Manson, Freak went about battering the son of god with a shovel before letting him know that he could bury him if he wanted to but would rather make him suffer for a few weeks longer.

• Villam Ender retained his Asylum Championship with a tainted knockout victory over Tommy Gunn, tainted because having been victorious Villam became subject of a sneak attack by the Masked Brawler, who removed his mask to reveal the shocking truth... that he was Borst.

• Nicholes Quaid... Joe's inside man in terms of federal affairs, found himself arrested.

• A quick and seemingly polite conversation between Karen Pembridge and Keegan only really got interesting when the two were out of earshot of one another and using terms like manc slut and geordie bastard... certainly not as terms of endearment.

• Token Weed reacted to his defeat the week previous to Providence in totally sportsmanlike manor, by sneaking up on him and hitting him with a steel chair several times.

• Freak announced the shocking revelation that he'd burned Steve Christ alive, before warning everyone else that should they cross him they would suffer the same fate. Freak quickly moved on to establishing Villam as the next victim on his list only for some unfinished business to show up in the form of the supposedly but evidently not dead Steve Christ. The somewhat charred Christ quickly went about putting Freak in his place and declaring that Freak couldn't kill something that wouldn't die.

• Miles Blunder's dodgy run as U.K. Champion came to an end when Steve Christ made his second statement of the night by defeating Blunder to take the title.

• Ty Hughes borrowed a bunch of Kenny Rock tapes in the belief that he could gain the secret of being immortal from a man that had blown his brains out, hey, nobody ever said he was a genius.

• Disgraced cop Nicholas Quaid found himself cutting a deal with the FBI, given the choice of taking a life term behind bars or helping the FBI put Campbell away once and for all... well... there really was no choice.

• An extremely irate Villam hit the cage to declare he'd had enough of Borst's games, which was unfortunate for Villam because the games were just beginning. The Masked Brawler appeared to reveal that he was not in fact Borst despite what Borst's unmasking the week previous had suggested, The Masked Brawler vanished and Villam launched into a rant about how Borst would never, ever get a shot at his title, which of course brought out Borst from the back. A legendary exchange of words between Villam and Borst went down before Campbell saw fit to put his ugly mug in the picture demanding that the pair restrain themselves until the main event later in the night... only to catch a rare piece of teamwork from Villam and Borst that saw him sprawled out on the canvas unconscious.

• Freak forced Eddie Cheno to submit and retained his Extreme title.

• Ty Hughes hit the cage at the request of a mystery individual to witness the horrific footage of his father being shot in the head up on the video wall, the shooter remained a mystery but everyone was almost certain as to who the culprit was.

• Nicholas Quaid turned up to see Campbell and proceeded to treat the Asylum owner like he'd been born yesterday. Wearing a wire and obviously out to put words in Campbell's mouth, Quaid failed to get Joe to say anything incriminating and generally was given the complete runaround by Campbell. Quaid left having failed to bait Campbell, presumably believing he'd get a second crack of the whip, little did Quaid know he wouldn't be getting a second crack at anything.

• Villam's claim that he could defeat Borst in ten minutes proved to be an overzealous one as he failed to keep Borst down despite giving him a serious beating over the ten minute spell, Villam's failure to defeat Borst meant that Borst would get a title shot at Conflict.

• Campbell summed up Nicholas Quaid's dilemma with a story involving a bird, a cow, a pile of shit and a cat... surprisingly the story made total sense.

• Token and Providence continued to be sociable, as Providence battered Token in the face with a fistfull of quaters (a fistfull of dollars would've sounded cooler but would've been far less effective).

• Borst paid a visit to the cage to convince everyone he was leaner, meaner, stronger and better than Villam Ender.

• Steve Christ arrived at the arena and after ploughing through a mob of adoring fans, went in search of The Freak.

• If Christ had paid Campbell a visit he'd have found the man he was looking for, Freak had been conveying his fears to Campbell... that he believed Steve Christ might've been immortal afterall and not just a gimmick. Campbell was quick to ridicule Freak and inform him that if Christ couldn't die then he could at least be crippled and that Freak should be the one to do it.

• Campbell overelaborated the fact that Villam had a dodgy knee to Sebastian Thompson, before telling Thompson to go and ask Villam for a title shot.

• Villam found his beer drinking interrupted when Sebastian Thompson turned up not only to demand a title shot but give Villam a run for his money in terms of being mouthy. Upon being accused of being a racist by Villam, Thompson was quick to refute the claims by speaking of a friend of his that was a poor, ugly, chicken eating, food stamp cashing nigger just like Villam. Thompson went on to demand a title shot and Villam quickly answered the request by punching him in the dick.

• Steve Christ and Freak continued to be inseperable not only in terms of form (both successful in defending their title belts) but also in terms of conflict. Seconds after Christ had retained his U.K. strap against Miles Blunder, he called out The Freak and a verbal exchange between the two confirmed that they'd meet at the per per view with both their titles on the line in a bout that would see the U.K. and Extreme belts unified.

• Sebastian got his title shot at Villam and failed on all fronts, not managing to injure Villam's knee or win the title as he crashed to a submission defeat and was generally outclassed by the champ.

• Shocking footage of Ty Hughes' family home being burned to the ground aired, leaving many concerned that any number of Hughes' family may have been inside.

• Not content with an easy victory he'd had earlier in the night... Freak continued his path of destruction by stepping in the cage with a more formidable Jeff Garvin, not only defeating him but making him submit as well. After the fight Steve Christ would appear to return an old favour by setting Freak ablaze having doused him in kerosene.

• Token and Providence met in the cage and vowed to end their conflict... at Conflict.

• Sebastian Thompson got his second ass whooping of the night having been sent out by Villam under a mask pretending to be the Masked Brawler. The Masked Thompson was quickly defeated by Borst and a late run in by Villam saw both Borst and Villam to exchange their best punches only for both to remain standing... whether that would be the case at Conflict remained to be seen.

• Conflict opened with Joe once again positioning pawns so that they would destroy one another, time appeared to be running out for Nicholas Quaid.

• Campbell unveiled the Black title, announcing that it would be given to the winner of Steve Christ and Freak's Extreme and U.K. title unification fight. Not content with finishing the interview on that note Joe proceeded to drop a bombshell by making a second unveiling... that of Scum, destroyer of the IOW who was happy to insult the fans before revealing he'd been employed by Joe all along to take the popular wrestling promotion down from within.

• A fax arrived in the hands of Borst letting him know that his poor conduct at Cyberslam had resulted in him being fired from the fWo, Borst however didn't seem all that bothered and proceeded to reel off a number of things he wasn't bothered about, the Asylum, the prestigious title belt and his fight with Villam, his only concern being kicking the shit out of Ender for the sake of it.

• Ty Hughes found himself booked in a fight with Eddie Cheno despite his main concern being found out who blew up the house his family lived in, even though it didn't really take much to figure out who was behind it.

• A disgraced former cop by the name of Lucas came to Joe desperate for a job, and quickly found himself welcomed into the Asylum family courtesy of an ass kicking at the hands of Karen Pembridge.

• Carnage easily retained his T.V. title with a victory over Darren Mitchell.

• A pair that had been forced to team with one another for the best part of a month clashed in the cage when Sebastian Thompson and John C. Willis met, Thompson picking up a surprise ringout victory despite not having the best of win loss records during his spell in Asylum so far.

• A third legendary meeting between Jeff Garvin and Keegan saw the geordie finally come out on top by beating Garvin in a ladder match to end a three month struggle to overcome his nemesis.

• Mentally distracted and clearly not on his game... Ty Hughes crashed to defeat against Eddie Cheno, who put Hughes down using one of Freak's trademark finishers.

• Token Weed and Providence clashed and to the surprise of the crowd Providence picked up yet another victory over Token, knocking him out fair and square.

• Immortals went head to head as the seemingly indestructible (despite plenty of effort from each to prove otherwise) Steve Christ and Freak met in their T.V. and Extreme to Black title unification fight. In a battle that saw both men fight through three different stipulated fights The Freak took a shocking first blood having defeated Christ via ringout in a standard Asylum rules fight, Christ would soon strike back however when he too pulled out a surprise and defeated The Freak under Extreme rules despite Freak having been a formidable holder of the Extreme belt for some months. The final fall was contested under newly created Black title rules and meant that one man would have to keep the other down for a full twenty second count to be crowned victorious and a twenty count was finally reached, when Freak knocked out Christ by hitting him with the most powerful blow he could think of... from behind the wheel of a speeding car.

• A true clash of the titans took place when quite possibly the two most legendary figures in the history of the Asylum stepped into the cage to face one another. Villam Ender and Borst for the Asylum championship was the fight everyone wanted to see but did not yield the result everyone had been hoping for. Despite both men throwing everything but the kitchen sink at one another the bout was finally decided by the killer blow that each man was able to deliver at any given moment, unfortunately they both delivered it at the SAME moment and by the process of smashing each other around the skull with sledgehammers the two were down for ten and a freakish draw ending meant nobody would truly know who the greater fighter was afterall.

MAY

May arrived with many wondering if Villam Ender could ever be permanently dethroned as champion of the promotion. The search was officially on to find a fighter capable of winning the title away from Villam and ensuring he wouldn't quickly win it back.

• Campbell declared that Villam's seemingly invincible status as champion was not down to the man himself but more a sheer lack of competition within the ranks, Joe declared that there would be a contendership tournament to focus fighters more specifically on Villam. Campbell revealed that in order to establish the best all around fighter, the tournament would be split into three different fighting stages, fighting, wrestling and finally boxing.

• The first bout of the title tournament got underway as Token Weed crushed newcomer Lucas with a knockout victory under fighting rules.

• Providence advanced in the tournament after pinning Mercy for the count of three in a battle contested under wrestling rules.

• A boxing match saw Eddie Cheno overcome Sebastian Thompson via knockout to book his place in the next stage of the tournament, victory for Cheno was not surprising considering his boxing roots.

• Another boxing match had Keegan knock out John C. Willis in the sixth round to move onward in the tournament.

• Jeff Garvin made LLB submit under wrestling rules to ensure wrestling would have good representation in the next round of the title tournament.

• Freak made an easy advance in the tournament having made Ricky Wasp submit under fighting rules. Not content with one impressive victory, Freak went on to defeat Token Weed in a second consecutive fight to make himself firm favourite to win the entire competition.

• Jeff Garvin continued to prove himself best wrestler in the promotion by knocking Providence out of the tournament by pinfall in a wrestling match.

• Former boxer Eddie Cheno also continued to shine in his respective field, knocking Keegan out of the tournament with a victory in the seventh round of their boxing bout.

• The tournament finale saw the best of fighting, boxing and wrestling meet when Freak, Eddie Cheno and Jeff Garvin stepped into the cage with a shot at Villam Ender on the line. As many expected it was the devastating Freak who ended up victorious to book a shot at Ender, Freak was becoming increasingly more unstoppable as weeks went by and it appeared as though he was the man to stuff Villam's run at the top.

• In typical Asylum fashion, no sooner had a new title challenged stepped up to the mark, a spanner was thrown in the works. With Freak victorious in the tournament it appeared as though a showdown with Villam was inevitable, and it would have been had Villam not promptly turned up in Joe's office and resigned from the active roster. Freak had emerged as the new contender but now the task at hand was to find a contender to face Freak.

• Token Weed and Providence continued to make pleasant exchanges, this time Token threatening Providence with a gun.

• Campbell hit the cage and quickly let everyone know that Villam had become the god of quit. Even more quickly Joe proceeded to belittle and besmirch all the previous champions the promotion had seen before sending out a tempting message to Kellen Kinkade, telling him that if he was willing to gamble his Immortal title at Turmoil against The Freak then Joe in turn would present him the opportunity to walk away both Immortal and Asylum Champion.

• Tension between Inmate and Steve Christ continued to boil as Christ left Burton flat out in the middle of the cage following a confrontation.

• Freak and Token Weed informed one another that pain would know no limits in their Black title grudge match later in the night.

• Lucas made a grim transition from loser to winner by breaking Tapestry's neck in an incident many incorrectly assumed had killed her.

• Jeff Garvin spent a few minutes talking out of his arse about wrestling legends having been transported to the ring in a classic WWE style mini ring, which Eddie Cheno turned up to destroy with a sledgehammer, leaving Garvin in tears.

• Sebastian Thompson made a scathing rant equal to many a Villam Ender classic, first accusing Ender of being a faggot before declaring the newly vacant Asylum title to be his. Thompson revealed some footage that showed Villam Ender's feet touching the floor during their match a few months previous, before insisting he was the uncrowned champ and that everyone else was basically shit.

• Jeff Garvin made Eddie Cheno submit in the cage, gaining retribution for the mini ring Cheno had destroyed earlier.

• Lucas continued his sadistic streak, making a complete mess of Hank Earl Hoskins to take another victory for the night.

• As they'd promised, Freak and Token Weed almost killed one another in their grudge fight, it was Freak who came out victorious however thanks to a lot of help from Providence and a cattle prod.

• Campbell waited impatiently for Kinkade to appear and sign his name on the fight contract that'd see him face Freak at Turmoil, proving himself not to be so naive... Kinkade turned up out of the crowd rather than coming down the aisle and was quick to level Dez Aragon and turn Joe's gun on Joe himself. Things threatened to become reminiscent of a scene from Reservoir Dogs when Freak too appeared and levelled a gun on Kinkade. Upon finding his gun to be loaded with blanks (fortunately for Joe, the direction of whom Kinkade had pulled the trigger) Kade was quick to sign the fight papers before receiving a pistol whip to the skull from Freak for his troubles... Kinkade threatened to retaliate but instead opted to make Campbell and Freak wait for Turmoil.

• A show got underway with footage from an fWo event that showed a huge altercation between Kellen Kinkade, Scum and The Freak. Scum made a snatch and run attack on Kinkade that saw the Immortal title removed from The Jersey Devil's person. As Kinkade rushed through the crowd in persuit of Scum he instead found himself face to face with a gun toting Freak who delayed Kinkade long enough for Scum to escape, Freak made his own exit but a bold Kinkade was quick to follow... stealing a limo and giving chase.

• Kinkade wasn't the only man in chase of a title, as Carnage demanded that Eddie Cheno return his title despite Cheno claiming he didn't have it.

• Campbell expressed his disgust at the fact that he was paying Dez Aragon to sit around doing nothing, before revealing to Dez that he was selling him on Ebay.

• Despite two vicious victories the week previous, Lucas could not overcome Ty Hughes and folded to a knockout defeat.

• Not too pleased with being put down via cattle prod a week ago, Token Weed hit the cage and challenged Providence to a final duel at Turmoil, a challenge Providence gladly accepted.

• Freak went all Bill Oddie on everyone by making a speech about birds and snakes, that somehow related to his ongoing battle with Kinkade. A fight that followed saw Freak easily defeat Tommy Gunn before the snake he'd been talking about earlier finally decided to strike, appearing on the video wall with Freak's manager Oddball as his captive, Kinkade went about snapping Oddball's body parts until Freak finally revealed that he'd buried the Immortal title in a nearbye graveyard.

• Turmoil kicked off with Kinkade doing a spot of exhuming in an attempt to find his Immortal title, unfortunately for The Jersey Devil all he found was a recently buried body and as he clambered out of the hole he'd created it became apparent that he'd been digging his own grave. The Freak arrived and delivered a swift and rough justice by cracking several of Kinkade's ribs with the shovel before finishing him off with a smack in the head that saw him tumble into the open grave, Freak had never buried the Immortal title at all, now he was leaving Kinkade for dead.

• Frank Minio made his arrival, a skilled and trained fighter who'd fallen from the grace of the now closed Flatlined Fighting.

• Campbell signed a second trained fighter by the name of Thanh Vactor, a decision that did not sit well with an increasingly more annoyed Dez Aragon.

• Campbell's plan to have one of his vicious fighters put Frank Minio away and raise the profile of Asylum failed, when Minio used his fighting skills to easily put Null State away with a knockout.

• Sebastian Thompson's boastings that he was the uncrowned Asylum Champion proved to fall somewhat short of reality, as he failed to defeat Carnage for the T.V. title.

• The be all and end all fight between Token Weed and Providence saw Token finally come out on top having booted a chair firmly into Providence's face for a knockout win.

• One of the greatest Campbell fuck ups of all time took place when against all sense of logic and reason, Kellen Kinkade defeated The Freak to become both Asylum and Immortal Champion. Despite many believing The Jersey Devil wouldn't make the fight due to his broken ribs, and even though Campbell had removed ringout and submission rules from the contest, Kinkade picked up the victory when what appeared to be a misdirected shot from Dez Aragon saw Freak's leg glanced with a bullet. The Jersey Devil quickly pounced on Freak's disadvantage and several chairshots heard around the world ensured that Asylum had a new champion... a wrestler.

JUNE

Kellen Kinkade was the Asylum Champion, in theory getting the belt back from a man who didn't want it anyway should've been easy. Things in the Asylum however were never that simple and as the promotion prepared to enter the darkest days it had ever seen... Campbell prepared to roll the dice one more time, one last gamble at Fight Hell with everything on the line.

• The first Asylum event of the month seemed to suggest that Campbell had accepted defeat, booking only useless UFC fighter Pete Williams to do a spot juggling like a clown at gunpoint. Token Weed watched on from high in the stands with disgust... if Campbell wasn't going to save Asylum then maybe he would.

• Token Weed took matters into his own hands, paying Campbell a visit at his Beverley Hills mansion to knock some sense into him. Having battered Joe about his house and shot a hooker while she was straddling the Asylum owner... Token finally got Campbell to agree to running some proper Asylum shows by dangling him over the balcony outside. Joe quickly permitted Token to go after Kinkade in the hunt for the title and Token showed his gratitude by dropping Campbell off the balcony and into a swimming pool below.

• Campbell's gambling addiction continued to manifest itself and harm the promotion, not content with Token's efforts to recover the belt from Kinkade, Campbell announced a final gamble at Fight Hell. Kinkade would face off against five of Asylum's best with the Asylum and Immortal titles on the line, if Kinkade won? Joe would close down the Asylum for good.

• Dez Aragon put his name forward as one of the fighters to face Kinkade at Fight Hell, promising to correct the mistake he made at Turmoil and bring the title back to the Asylum. Campbell granted Dez his wish but also put him in a qualification match with Jeff Garvin to test his metal... Dez easily put Garvin away and was the first fighter to officially book his spot in the Fight Hell main event.

• Osyrus made his arrival in the Asylum, reeling off a list of accomplishments in poxy promotions such as PIW before stealing Kellen Kinkade's catchphrase to round things up... perhaps his presence would truly be felt when he stepped into the cage.

• Ty Hughes booked himself a slot in the Fight Hell by defeating Bizarre Kid... yeah, we don't know who the fuck he was either.

• Token Weed revealed that his interference at an fWo event that'd seen Kinkade retain the Asylum Championship had been no mistake, rather that he'd been preventing Eli Flair from capturing the title because Campbell had foolishly tried to cut a deal with Flair, a man who Token simply did not trust.

• Campbell revealed that he'd hired two bodyguards, Thanh Vactor and Osyrus, with a view to having them butcher one another at Fight Hell to try and cement a spot as his permanent watcher.

• Sebastian Thompson's ego trip continued as he compared himself to George Foreman having been defeated by Carnage at Turmoil.

• Steve Christ defeated Null State to book himself into the Fight Hell main event.

• A bunch of shadow boxing and screaming about his hatred for junkies at the top of his lungs didn't help August Monday, who bombed to a defeat at the hands of Token Weed in the final Fight Hell main event qualifier.

• Kellen Kinkade appeared on the video wall, revealing his confusion as to whether he'd tuned into TNN or Comedy Central given the altogether hilarious shitness of the event he'd just witnessed. Kinkade commented that on the evidence of the event he'd just seen he deserved to be Asylum Champion because he was the best fighter around anyway. Token Weed was quick to digress by simply informing Kinkade that at Fight Hell... he was fucking dead.

• Fight Hell opened with problems continuing to pile up for Joe Campbell, as if Kinkade being Asylum Champion wasn't bad enough, an individual by the name of Michael Saccaro appeared to stir up issues spanning back decades to Asylum's inception as an underground fighting promotion. Saccaro promised to do what Universal and those before him had failed to achieve... rip Asylum apart from the inside.

• Still firmly believing he was Satan himself, Chris Credible's run as the prince of darkness came to a snappy end when Frank Minio broke his arm in the middle of the cage for a submission victory.

• Token Weed hit the cage with Kellen Kinkade's bollocks gripped firmly in his hand, having taken Kade's Immortal title, Token was now threatening to destroy it live on pay per view. Bringing down a hammer on it and cracking it was enough to bring Kellen Kinkade out in front of the crowd, Kade was quick to remind everyone that the last person who took his belt made him dig his own grave and if Token didn't return the strap it'd be his grave that Kinkade would be digging next. Campbell arrived to diffuse the situation but was quickly told to fuck off by both individuals and skulked back into the backstage like a wounded animal. Kinkade and Token discussed stipulations and it was revealed the main event would be a ladder match with the titles going to whoever could grab them first, just before things could come to a civil ending, Kinkade kicked Token in the unmentionables and Token once again threatened to kill Kinkade in the main event.

• Inmate threw a match against Tommy Gunn, mysteriously jumping out of the cage and heading into the crowd in persuit of someone or something.

• Sebastian Thompson backed up the words coming out of his mouth for once, defeating John C. Willis via knockout.

• A newcomer by the name of Reggie Harrison Willis arrived and threw a complete tantrum in the middle of the cage.

• Thanh Vactor defeated Osyrus to become Campbell's permanent bodyguard, evidently Osyrus hadn't been fully prepared to live up to the massive intro he'd given himself the week previous. Shortly after the match Campbell revealed he was going to keep both men on as bodyguards anyway, rendering their bloody brawl fairly pointless.

• Eddie Cheno captured the T.V. title, ending Carnage's impressive run as champ. After the fight Eddie exorcised another couple of demons by knocking Campbell's block off and in the process finding some kind of common ground with Carnage, their war appeared to be over.

• The source of Inmate's earlier distraction revealed itself when he caught up with Borst backstage, Borst revealed that he was going to be participating in the main event... leading many to believe that he was going to be responsible for the downfall of Asylum afterall.

• A chaotic ladder match main event saw lots of things change and lots of things stay the same. What appeared to be an almost unstoppable rise to the top by Token Weed did not come to pass as early in the battle a huge screwjob unveiled itself, with a sinister earpiece fitted to him, Dez Aragon carried out some third party orders by not only levelling Token, Christ and Hughes but also trying to aid Kinkade in winning the belts and bringing the promotion down. His treachery was quickly put to an end however when Freak, appearing for the first time since being shot by Dez at Turmoil, returned to toss Aragon off the entrance ramp and out of the fight. Things appeared to be swinging back in the direction of Asylum again until Borst finally made his presence felt... tearing down the aisle to not only take out Hughes and Christ but Kinkade as well! Borst left having positioned the ladder in the middle of the cage and with the three other fighters down it appeared as though Token Weed would be the one to climb the stairway to heaven, Kinkade however had other ideas and a low blow sent Token down and allowed The Jersey Devil all the time in the world to climb the ladder and recapture the Immortal title. As the Asylum Championship hung mere inches away from Kinkade's grasp and the future of the promotion hung in the balance... Kinkade took one look at the bloodied, beaten, half dead but still moving fighters below him and decided the Asylum belt wasn't worth the trouble before clambering down the ladder and making an exit. With the fate of Asylum now in safe hands all that was left was to crown a new champion... or two. Christ and Hughes scaled the ladder and an effort from Token Weed to take the ladder from beneath them failed and only served to produce a more spectacular ending... both men hanging by the belt wirte 20 feet above the cage before finally coming crashing down to earth with the Asylum Championship, each man having a hand on the belt much to Token's dismay. Asylum had for the first time not a champion but champions, Steve Christ and Ty Hughes.
